Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Milwaukee is the largest city in the state of Wisconsin. As of 2006 its estimated population was more than 602,000 residents. Milwaukee was originally inhabited by Fox, Potawatomi, Winnebago and Mascouten Indian tribes. Milwaukee technically means good or pleasant land. The town was first visited by Solomon Juneau in 1818. Milwaukee has grown incredibly since then and is home to immigrants from Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Germany and other European nations.
There are many things to see and visit while in Milwaukee including Sea Dog Sailing and the Milwaukee County Zoo. There are many landmarks including the Allen-Bradley Clock Tower which is the worlds largest four sided clock. Also see the Domes, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and Milwaukee City Hall.
